Willmar woman injured when vehicle slides off icy road Thursday

A Willmar woman was injured when her car slid off an icy road Thursday.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, on Nov. 30, at about 9:46 a.m., law enforcement learned of a crash on the 400 block of 60th Ave. NE. Deputies found a 2016 Fold Fusion that had collided with a tree in the south ditch, driven by Kayla Reimers, age 21.

Reimers was transported to CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Willmar Fire Department, CentraCare Ambulance, and Kandiyohi County Public Works.
