Willmar man dies Wednesday in tractor rollover

A Willmar man died in an apparent utility tractor rollover Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, at about 5:51 p.m. on June 29, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in the 7000 block of 12th St NW, in Willmar. Law enforcement found a male pinned underneath a utility tractor which had tipped over on the side of a creek embankment. The 67 yr old male from Willmar was later pronounced dead on scene.

His name is not being released at this time.

This incident remains under investigation by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Spicer Fire Department, Spicer First Responders and CentraCare Ambulance.
