Wabasso woman injured in collision with semi on Highway 68 Saturday

A Wabasso woman was injured when her vehicle and a semi-truck collided in Redwood County on Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Sept. 30, Charlene Marie Frank, age 68, was driving a 2000 Ford Windstar eastbound on Highway 68, while James Allan Kohout, age 65, of Olivia, was driving a 2023 Kenworth truck southbound on Highway 71. The vehicles collided at the intersection of those roads at about 7:53 a.m.

Frank was transported to CentraCare – Redwood with non-life threatening injuries.

The Wabasso Fire Department and medical, and the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
