The Redwood Falls Police Department reports two minor collisions in town last Thursday.

In the first, reported about 3:46 p.m., a northbound Chevrolet Impala driven by a 16 year old female from Danube was paused at the stop sign at the intersection of E. Bridge and E. Cook Streets. The teen made a left turn onto E. Bridge Street into the path of a Subaru being driven by Marsi Anne Salvati, age 52, of Redwood Falls. Salvati’s vehicle had the right of way, according to the police department, and the teen failed to yield. The teen was taken to a nearby medical facility with suspected minor injuries, while a passenger in the teens vehicle received no apparent injuries.

Several hours later, at about 5:37 p.m., police received a report of a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of E. Bridge Street and S. Quality Drive. Officers discovered a Chevrolet being driven by Branson Dean Moen, age 25, of Hendricks, had been stopped in traffic waiting for the vehicle in front of him to make a turn. Behind Moen’s vehicle was a Ford being driven by a 16 year old male from Redwood Falls.

At that point a Ford being driven by a 17 year old female from Redwood Falls rear-ended the car in the center, pushing that vehicle into the back of Moen’s Chevrolet.

No apparent injures were reported from this collision.
