Three injured in Kandiyohi County collision Saturday afternoon

Residents of Spicer and Willmar were injured when their vehicles collided in Kandiyohi County on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 4 p.m. on Dec. 2, Thomas Brian Fox, age 76, of Spicer was driving a 2005 Land Rover SUV westbound on 132nd  Avenue NE. Travis John Lamecker, age 28, of Willmar was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse northbound on Highway 23, and the vehicles collided at the intersection.

Fox reported non-life threatening injures, and was not transported for medical attention. Lamecker was transported to CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, as was his passenger, Kelsey Jean Lamecker, age 30, of Willmar.

Assisting on the scene were the the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and Rescue, CentraCare, and the New London Fire and Ambulance.
