Semi-truck overturns near Morton Monday afternoon

A driver was injured when his semi-truck overturned near Morton Monday afternoon.

According to the State Patrol, at about 12:54 p.m. on June 20, Mohamud Ali Mohamed, age 41, of Eden Prairie, was driving a 2012 Freightliner northbound on Highway 71 outside Morton. When he turned eastward onto Highway 19, his truck overturned.

Mohamed was taken to Carris Health – Redwood with non-life threatening injuries. Assisting on the scene were the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, and the Morton Fire Department and Ambulance.
