Second New London brother dies after utility vehicle/pickup crash

The second of three brothers injured in a UTV crash near New London has died. According to the family’s CaringBridge site, Harrison Dahl, age 11, passed away Tues., Jan. 16.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened Jan. 7 when Harrison’s older brother, William, age 15, was driving a Polaris Ranger when the vehicle collided with a pickup truck on Highway 9.

William died last week. Younger brother Drew Dahl, age 10, was discharged from the hospital last week with relatively minor injuries.

Harrison’s mother, Lara Dahl, wrote: “(Harrison) fought so hard but his little body couldn’t handle all the stress and trauma.”
