Montevideo, RCW hire new superintendents

Two area school districts have hired new superintendents. The Montevideo School Board this month voted to offer a contract to Wabasso School District Superintendent Wade McKittrick. McKittrick would replace Dr. Luther Heller, who has retired after 12 years with the Montevideo School District. The school board hopes McKittrick will begin his duties in Montevideo July 1st.

And Renville County West has opted to hire their interim superintendent, Doug Froke, and make him their regular fulltime superintendent. Former Superintendent Michelle Mortensen left RCW last year to become the Buffalo Lake-Hector Superintendent, and Froke was hired last July as interim. He has now signed a 3-year-contract to lead Renville County West.
