Granite Falls residents injured in crash near Prinsburg Friday

Two Granite Falls residents were injured in a collision near Prinsburg Friday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on March 31 Travis Dean Ryks, age 38 was driving a 2012 Chrysler northbound on County Road 1, while Agany John Char, age 38, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was driving a 2004 Dodge Durango southbound on the same road. At about 11:12 a.m., the vehicles collided at the intersection of County Road 1 and Railroad Avenue.

Ryks was transported to the hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries, as was his passenger, Amy Ann Tot Che, age 34, of Granite Falls.

Assisting at the scene were the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, the Prinsburg Fire Department and Rescue, and CentraCare ambulance.
