A Faribault man, Jesse James Flores, age 39, was sentenced in Redwood County Court after twice selling methamphetamine to law enforcement agents or informants last August.

According to court documents, on August 3, 2022, an informant contacted the Brown Lyon Redwood Renville Drug Task Force to say he could arrange to buy half an ounce of meth from Flores in Redwood Falls later that day.

That afternoon, the informant and an undercover drug task force agent drove to Flores’s residence. Flores was observed getting into the back of the vehicle. After a recorded discussion with the informant and agent, Flores sold them 14.9 ounces of methamphetamine for $400.

Three weeks later, on Aug. 24, 2022, drug task force agents contacted Flores by phone and arranged for the purchase of another 3.5 grams of meth for $180 in a Redwood Falls business. The actual exchange of money and meth occurred a block away, in the restroom of another Redwood Falls business.

On Sept. 25, 2023, Flores was convicted and sentenced for felony third degree drug sales to 57 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud.
