Body found near Cottonwood River west of Sanborn Friday

On October 6th, at about 2:15 p.m., the Redwood County Sheriff’s office was contacted regarding the discovery of a deceased individual. The body was located in Charleston Township, west of Sanborn along the Cottonwood River.

The body has been taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner for identification and further investigation. No additional details will be released at this time.
