Sacred Heart man injured in Renville County collision with cow Tuesday

A Sacred Heart man was injured Tuesday when the semi he was driving collided with a cow in Renville County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Oct. 25 Sammy Enruquez, age 47, was driving a 1998 Volvo semi-truck and trailer westbound on Highway 19. About a mile and a half east of Franklin, the semi collided with a cow.

Enriquez was transported to CentraCare Redwood with non-life threatening injuries. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
