A Rogers man was uninjured when his ATV fell through the ice of a Kandiyohi County lake on Christmas day.

At about 2:09 p.m., the Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office received a report an ATV  broke through the ice on the northwest part of Games Lake, in northwest Kandiyohi County.

While emergency services were in route, the Sheriff’s Office received verification the sole occupant of the ATV, an uninjured 60 year old man from Rogers, MN, had climbed out onto the ice and was able to walk safely back to his cabin. His vehicle, a 2019 Can-Am Defender was sunk in six to seven feet of water.
