Another blizzard could be on the way for the KLGR-area as folks are driving home from extended Thanksgiving visits.

According to the National Weather Service, a winter weather advisory is in effect from late this evening until noon Friday. Redwood, Brown, Watonwan, and Martin counties could see another inch of snow, but rain, freezing rain, and freezing drizzle are the real danger as the temperature warms to the mid 30s.

As for the weekend, another major winter storm is possible, with a winter storm watch in effect across various parts of the upper midwest from Friday evening through Sunday morning. Temperatures will warm Saturday enough to make freezing rain possible.
