Marshall man injured in collision with semi-truck Tuesday

A Marshall man was injured Tuesday when his car collided with a semi-truck in Lyon County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 2:04 p.m. on Jan. 5, Jeremy Allan Anspach, age 44, of Marshall, was traveling southbound on Highway 23 in his 1999 Nissan Altima. Just north of 380th Street, Anspach collided with a northbound 2018 Kenworth semi-truck being driven by John Edwin Wander, age 61, of Elrosa.

Anspach was transported to Avera Marshall hospital with believed non-life threatening injuries.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cottonwood Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
