Man dies when car crashes into Minnesota River in Redwood County Friday morning

A man died when a car crashed into the Minnesota River on Friday morning.

On Friday, Jan. 19th, at about 11 a.m., the Redwood County Sheriff’s  Office learned of a vehicle that had crashed onto the Minnesota River, at the 43000 block of Harvest Avenue.

Deputies found a deceased  male inside of the vehicle. This incident is under investigation.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by  the Belview Fire Department, Belview First Responders, Centra Care Ambulance, Minnesota State Patrol,  Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the Renville County Sheriff’s Office.
