A Willmar man was injured Friday when the semi-truck he was driving crashed in Lac Qui Parle County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 10:45 a.m. on March 31, Dustin Ross Lavoie, age 30, was driving a International semi-truck westbound on Highway 212. Near the intersection with 391st Avenue, the truck crossed both lanes and entered the eastbound ditch, striking two signs before stopping back on the road.

Lavoie was transported to the hospital in Dawson with non-life threatening injuries. Assisting at the scene were the Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office, Dawson Fire Department, Boyd Fire Department, and Johnson Memorial Ambulance.
