Two Olivia women injured in UTV rollover Friday
Two Olivia women were injured when their UTV overturned in Renville County Friday evening.
On May 10, at about 9:52 p.m., the Renville County Sheriff’s Office learned of an UTV rollover crash on 840th Ave, west of Renville County Road 6, about one mile northwest of Renville. The caller reported the two occupants had sustained injuries.
Preliminary crash investigation revealed a 2013 Polaris Ranger, driven by 26 year old Brittany Harazin of Olivia, was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway, entered the ditch, and overturned. Harazin’s passenger was 22 year old Ashley Trongard of Olivia.
Harazin was flown to North Memorial in Robbinsdale. Trongard was transported to the Olivia Hospital & Clinic. Both were treated for their injuries and have since been released from the hospital.
Assisting on scene were the Renville Fire Department, Renville First Response, Renville Police Department, Olivia Ambulance, and North Air Care.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
