Two injured in Redwood County rollover Wednesday afternoon

Two people were injured when their vehicle overturned on icy roads in Redwood County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 2:23 p.m., Kaylene Aruka Quitugua, age 21, of San Antonio, Texas, was driving a 2023 Subaru Impreza eastbound on Highway 68. Near the intersection with County Road 13, the vehicle lost control, left the road, and rolled.

Quitugua was taken to CentraCare – Redwood hospital with non-life threatening injuries, as was her passenger, Erigene Kovince Palacios, age 20, of Worthington.

Assisting on the scene were the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, CentraCare Ambulance, and the Morgan Fire Department and Ambulance.
