Sanborn teens injured in Cottonwood County rollover Saturday

Two teens from Sanborn suffered non-life threatening injuries when their vehicle rolled over in Cottonwood County Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Nov. 25, Tyler Paul Therkilsen, age 17 was driving a 2009 Dodge Ram southbound on Highway 71 on wet roads. At about 12:16 p.m., the pickup left the roadway, entered the east ditch, and rolled.

Therkilsen was transported to the hospital in Windom with non-life threatening injuries, as was his passenger, Carter John Therkilsen, age 16. Passenger Jordan Randal Therkilsen,age 14, was uninjured.

Assisting at the scene were the Windom Ambulance, Sanborn Fire Department, and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
