Nathaniel James Wall

A Redwood Falls man was convicted in Redwood County Court last Thursday of four felony-level counts of possessing child pornography. Nathaniel James Wall, age 42, was sentenced to a total of 36 months in prison, with credit for slightly over two years already served.

In Sept. 2017, the Redwood Falls Police Department received a tip from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension concerning possible child pornography associated with an email account and phone number with a 507 area code. Nineteen digital files depicting children were found on an email address linked to Wall.

On Sept. 28, 2017, agents searched Wall’s residence in Redwood Falls, and found a cell phone with numerous images that fit the legal description of child pornography.

Wall pled guilty to four counts, while eleven other charges were dismissed. Walls was sentenced Friday morning, and will serve the penalties for the four counts concurrently in the correctional facility in St. Cloud, with credit for slightly over two years already served, and conditional release of five years after release.
