Morton man sentenced in Redwood County Court for multiple drug sales

A Morton man, Alex E. Blue, age 34, has been sentenced in Redwood County Court for being caught selling illegal drugs multiple times within a 90 day period.

According to court documents, agents with the Brown Lyon Redwood Renville Drug Task Force worked with a confidential informant on three occasions last year to buy drugs from Blue. The first time was on April 7, the next two on April 20 and June 13 of 2022. Drugs purchased from Blue at his residence in Morton included methamphetamine and fentanyl. An agreement was also tentatively made to purchase $1,500 worth of heroin, with money changing hands.

On March 6, Alex Blue was sentenced to 72 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud for felony drugs sales.
