Meeker County Sheriff resumes jail visitations
On Tuesday, May 26, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office resumed jail visitation, by appointment only. The jail lobby remains closed and other jail business remains by phone and appointment.
Those wishing to visit family and friends in the Meeker County jail must call 320-693-5415 to make an appointment. Walk ups will not be allowed. Inmates are only allowed one visit per day. No children or minors will be allowed at this time. Only one person per visit. However, two people will be allowed if they are from the same household. The visitation booths will be cleaned and sanitized between visits.
Because the number of visitation rooms available has been reduced, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office has modified visiting hours and days. Appointments for half hour visitation blocks are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
