On Wednesday morning, the firm dredging Lake Redwood, JF Brennan Company announced it has removed 230,000 cubic yards of sediment removed from the lake. That amounts to 35 percent, a little over a third, toward the 650,000 cubic yard goal.

The dredge, the Michael B., continues to work 24 hours per day, six days per week, moving in a southerly direction. Removal of a sand island has just begun
