REDWOOD COUNTY LICENSE CENTER ANNOUNCEMENT

Beginning Monday, April 6, The Redwood County License Center is able to process tab renewals (again) if put in the drop box or mailed to us. However for the time being, no face to face transactions will be allowed and we are unable to process DL/ID transactions.

The drop box is on the north side of the building facing 4th Street (Bremer Bank side). Please place your entire tab renewal notice with your insurance information written on the bottom right, so we can process your transaction and mail it back to you in a timely manner. Be sure that the address information is correct on your renewal or change it if needed. We also ask that you write your phone number and your DL/ID number on your check.

OR

Redwood County License Center is offering Tab Renewal by Mail, meaning you can mail your full renewal notice to the Redwood County License Center, we will process it and mail it back to you.

If you choose to do this, please check the following items:

1. Return address is correct.

2. Fill in your insurance information on the bottom portion of the renewal slip. (Company, policy number, full expiration date).

3. Make check or money order paid to the order of: Redwood County License Center

4. Please list current phone number and driver’s license number on your check.

If you have not received your renewal notice in the mail, follow the same steps as above, but make sure to add the vehicle’s information – year, full VIN number, and plate number in a letter to our office.
