Sherry Diane Eigen

Sherry Diane Eigen age 58, of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota passed away on March 15, 2021, at her home.

Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 3:00 pm.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.

She was born on January 5th, 1963 in Sleepy Eye, MN, the daughter of Norbert J. and Alice F. (Harmening) Krzmarzick. Sherry grew up in Sleepy Eye, attended school at St. Mary’s and graduated in 1981. Sherry was married in 1983 and had three beautiful children. She went on to school at Mankato State University to become an LPN. She loved nursing and helping people.
Sherry moved back to Sleepy Eye in 2018 and was so happy to be close to her family again. She had such a love for her pet dogs, Chester and Savannah. She always said that they loved her unconditionally. She enjoyed playing with her dogs and taking them for walks, needlework, crocheting, gardening, the flowers on her deck, watching the Cooking, History, and Discovery channels and spending time with friends and family. Sherry was challenged in life in many ways and her health was not good. After a struggle with cancer, the angels came to take her to heaven and she is again with her dad, Norbert J. Krzmarzick and grandma Dorothy Harmening. We are blessed that our family got to spend the time we did with Sherry.
Sherry is survived by her three children, son JJ (Nicole) Helget of North Mankato, daughter Jessie (Andrew) Incorvaja of Eagan, and daughter Justine Helget of Sleepy Eye. She has two grandchildren, Abigail and Carter Helget of North Mankato. Sherry is also survived by her mother, Alice F. (Harmening) Krzmarzick of Sleepy Eye, sister Julie Krzmarzick of Sleepy Eye, sister Cathy (Jim) Moldaschel of North Mankato, and brother Steve (fiancé Karen) Krzmarzick of Sleepy Eye. Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Norbert J. Krzmarzick.
Sherry is forever loved and always remembered.
