Roger Alver Prodoehl was born July 9, 1950 at Redwood Falls, MN, to Alver and Edith (Simning) Prodoehl. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Danube High School. Roger married Sharon in 1973 and they were parents of two children. Roger had been employed at the brickyard in Springfield, as a welder in New Ulm, and then as an over the road trucker for many years.  Upon retirement he moved back to the family farm. This past year Roger had a lengthy battle with health issues. He had enjoyed gardening, fishing, deer hunting, making rag rugs, and taking family camping and fishing trips to northern Minnesota. Roger truly loved working around the farm, time spent splitting wood, and his beloved cat “Charlie”.

Roger  is survived by his daughter Amy Prodoehl of New Ulm;  son Jason (and Wendy) Prodoehl of Lubbock, TX; mother Edith Prodoehl of Renville; sister Sandy Fender of Rapid City, SD;  grandchildren: Brenda, Levi, and Luke; sister-in-law Mary Prodoehl of Eden Prairie; and his nieces and nephew: Kim, Kevin, and Candi. Roger was preceded in death by his father Alver Prodoehl; brother Jerry Prodoehl; and brother-in-law Chas Fender.

Blessed Be His Memory
