Marcia Ann Schiller

Marcia Ann Schiller, 71 of Clements, MN, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, after a hard fought, courageous battle with cancer, on January 25, 2024. Marcia was born May 2, 1952, to Robert C. and Grace (Stevenson) Whittet in Redwood Falls, MN. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School and completed schooling at the MN School of Business. While in high school she met the love of her life, Douglas Schiller and the two were united in marriage on October 28th, 1972 at United Methodist Church Redwood Falls, MN. They then made their home in Clements, MN. Marcia worked as a medical receptionist at the Redwood Clinic until the birth of their children. While the children were growing up, she stayed home and was a child care provider. She later took a job at Clements Federal Credit Union, becoming manager until its closing 20+ years later.

Marcia loved to cook and bake and she was sure good at it! She made certain no one ever left hungry. Almost any time while indoors, she could be found in the kitchen, or at her sewing machine. She excitingly enjoyed quilting and the retreats with her quilting girls, shopping and spending time with her girlfriends. She loved the outdoors, feeding birds, potting flowers and keeping up the vegetable garden. She just loved making things beautiful. She also enjoyed being at the lake fishing, and playing bean bags and dice. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and watching them grow.

Marcia is lovingly survived by her husband, Doug; son, Jon (Nicky) Schiller of Fountain City, WI; daughter, Nicole (Jeremy) Dove of Springfield, MN; grandchildren, Briella Schiller, Abigail, Wyatt and Gavin Dove; brothers, Steve Whittet of Redwood Falls, MN; Tom Whittet of Searles, MN; and very many loving Brothers and Sisters in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Edward and Mildred (Timm) Schiller; grandson, Jacob Robert Schiller; her sister-in-law Marri Whittet, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
