Isaac Hoff
Isaac Hoff, age 13, of Bird Island, MN passed away on March 24, 2022 as a result of a tragic incident. A celebration of Isaac’s life will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bird Island with Pastor Dan Croonquist officiating. Burial will be in the Olivia Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service of Olivia.

Isaac Jon Hoff was born on April 23, 2008 in Willmar, Minnesota to Jonny Hoff and RaeAnna Heck. Isaac was fortunate to be able to have been raised by his grandparents, Sandy and Larry Hoff in Bird Island. Isaac was a very loyal friend who would never throw any of his “homies” under the bus – no matter what. He will always be remembered for being so polite and having the best manners. He was always appreciative of what others did for him and would respond quickly with a “Thank You”. Every time his grandma would drop him off somewhere he would always give her a hug and say “love you grandma”, pretty amazing for a teenager. Isaac will forever be remembered as a Hero for his bravery, literally giving up his life to protect those he loved. Isaac enjoyed the years he played baseball, basketball and football, hanging out with his 8th grade friends from BOLD and his church youth group friends. He was always willing to be a team player and quick to befriend others. Isaac was involved in boy scouts and Tae kwon do, and especially loved his trips to Florida and California with his aunt, uncle, and cousins as well as his many fishing trips with family and friends. Isaac enjoyed his many visits with his dad, especially his most recent trip just a couple months ago. His baby sister Cierra, held a very special place in his heart and he treasured all the time he spent with her. Four wheeling, go carts and “ballin’ up” always brought a smile to his face. Being a typical 13 year old, he also loved listening to his rap music and staying up endless hours on his PS4.
Surviving Isaac are his paternal grandparents and guardians, Sandy and Larry Hoff; his dad, Jonny Hoff; his mom, RaeAnna Heck; his baby sister, Cierra; his maternal grandma, Mary Heck; his aunts and uncles: Wayne (Carrie) Hoff, Jamie (Kim) Hoff, Tonya Ziesmer, Holly (Travis) Weidauer, Betty (Jessie) Requena; cousins: Paige and Jenna Hoff, Myla and Maverick Hoff, Darla (John) Bajari, Hayley (Jeremiah), Kortney, Tyler & Tinley Ruschen, Blake (Brandi) Ziesmer, Shawna Mayer, Tanner (Maxine), Aiden, & Irene Weidauer, Jordan, Sophia, Jesse Jr. & Elizabeth Requena; special “homies”: Jarrod Ramos, Fabian Banda, Victor Medina, and Trey Zamarron; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
