Emma A. Johnson

Emma A. Johnson, age 80, of Redwood Falls, MN, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Redwood Falls, MN. A private family graveside service will be held in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.

Emma A. Johnson was born to parents Emmett and LaVera M. (Schnur) Riezinger, in Los Angeles, CA. and raised in Black River Falls, WI.
She graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1960. She married Donald R. Johnson on September 1, 1962, in Black River, MN. Son, Jonathan R., was born on May 22, 1963. Daughter Elizabeth A. “Lisa” was born on May 2, 1967. They lived in Marshall, MN from 1962 to 1986, then moved to Redwood Falls, where she resided until passing. She worked at the Minnesota Manor for years in Minneota, MN. REM of Marshall and Schotts, Zytec and Artisan in Redwood Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son (1995).
She was survived by her husband, Donald; daughter, Elizabeth “Lisa” and sister, Anna Maria Riezinger of Big Lake, Alaska.
She took care of a lot of people. Now she’s in the care of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
