Deborah Robertson

Deborah Robertson age 67, of Springfield, MN died on August 23, 2021, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Springfield, MN.

Service will be held at the United Methodist Church on Saturday at 11:00 am. The clergy will be Pastor Rick Frederickson.

Deborah Ann (Deb) Robertson was born on December 24, 1953, in New Ulm, MN, the daughter of Terry and Lois Lynch.  She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1972.  She was united in marriage to Douglas Robertson on August 24, 1974, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.  Deb provided in home childcare services for many years and later worked as a para providing support at the Springfield Public School.  Deb enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and loved to play Bingo.  She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family especially her grandkids.  Deb had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the pranks her family pulled on her.  Deb loved the holidays and hosting her annual “Debbie Days” celebration. 

She is survived by her husband of 47 years – Doug “The Rocket” of Springfield; children – Heather (Troy) Thoennes of Lakeville, Chad (Stacey) Robertson of Buffalo, Erica (Jonathan) Plaetz of Redwood Falls, Justin (Melissa) Robertson of Springfield; grandchildren – Valerie Plaetz, Carter Robertson, Chloe Thoennes, Jazmine Robertson, Zander Robertson, Jaxon Robertson, and Victoria Plaetz; mother – Lois Lynch; and siblings – Mary Beth (Doug) Weldon, Tim (Carol) Lynch, Bonnie (Tim) Murphy, Peter Lynch (Christine Soucek), Frank Lynch, and Cheryl Lynch.  Deb was preceded in death by her father Terry Lynch.
