Christine was born on January 21, 1978 to Michael and Marcia (Thompson) Barger in Robbinsdale, MN. Later, she would study and graduate from Robbinsdale-Cooper High School. Chrissy was accompanied to the end by her partner in crime, Craig. They were married on August 24, 2002 at Cross of Calvary Lutheran Church. From there in small-town Olivia, they would live and raise their daughter, Rylee. She had worked many jobs around the community, from healthcare to automotive.

Christine was a hard-loving, generous, and kind human being who shared many great memories with countless friends. Chrissy enjoyed being with family, camping, and most importantly, The State Fair. ‘The Great Minnesota Get Together’ held a special place in her heart as she and Craig were engaged there and made numerous memories attending each year. When diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma on March 25, 2022, Christine was determined to kick cancer’s butt; which she did until her final breath.  Christine’s strength, love, and courage doesn’t go unseen. She had the sweetest soul; undoubtedly putting everyone before herself. Chrissy’s unconditional love, determination and wisdom will continue to prosper and inspire us.

Christine leaves behind her husband, Craig, and her daughter, Rylee of Olivia; her parents, Michael and Marcia Barger of Robbinsdale; her brother, Michael (and Sandra) Barger of Chanhassen; and her fur baby, Mya Ray; and many other family and friends.

Blessed Be Her Memory
