Charlotte “Sherry” Louise Wold

Charlotte “Sherry” Louise Wold, age 72, of Danube, died Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the RenVilla Nursing Home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Renville.   Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville.

Charlotte “Sherry” Louise Wold was born on April 7, 1948, in Granite Falls, Minnesota to Clarence and Rosella (Foss) Brettin.  She grew up in Renville and attended School at Renville Public Schools.  Sherry enjoyed many things in life, but most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters and son:  Rhonda Haney of Olivia, Melissa Mickels of Raymond, and Ryan (and Tara) Mickels of Montevideo; her grandchildren:  Courtney (and Zach) Kopel, Wyatt, Austen, Elijah, Summer, Corin, and Jake; her great grandchildren: Avery, Reed, and Sawyer; her siblings:  Barbara (and Bill) Steffel, Carolyn (and Howie) Wirth, Thomas Brettin, and James Brettin; and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Moryn, and her brother Robert.
