Belle Plaine to Join Big South Conference in 2024-25

The Big South Conference is proud to announce that Belle Plaine has accepted an invitation to
join the Big South Conference starting in the fall of 2024. Belle Plaine High School is located in
Belle Plaine, MN. Belle Plaine will be the 7th largest school in the conference by MSHSL
enrollment numbers and will be the 15th school in the Big South Conference. Belle Plaine’s
activity offerings include Cross Country, Football, Girls Tennis, Volleyball, Boys and Girls
Soccer (coop with Jordan), Boys and Girls Basketball, Dance Team, Hockey (with MN River),
Wrestling (coop with Jordan), Baseball, Softball, Boys and Girls Track and Field, and Boys and
Girls Golf. They will also have Fine Arts Activities that include Band and Choir, One Act Play,
Speech, Robotics and Clay Target. The conference is excited to continue to provide the best
experiences for students in our member schools.
