A teenager and a postal service worker were injured when their vehicles collided near Green Lake Monday afternoon.
On Monday, Dec. 28, at 4:41 p.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries at 97th Avenue NE and 90th Street NE in Green Lake Township.
Deputies determined that a 2012 Volkswagen, driven by a 16 year old female from Spicer, collided with a United States Postal mail delivery vehicle, driven by Michelle Hoberg, age 54 from Spicer.
Both Hoberg and the juvenile sustained injuries from the crash and were transported for treatment.
Assisting the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office were New London Ambulance, Spicer First Responders, Spicer Fire Department, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Carris Health Ambulance and Life Link Air Ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
