Family from Savage injured in Watonwan County collision Friday

Three members of a family from Savage were injured when their vehicle collided at a Watonwan County intersection on Friday afternoon.

At about 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 7, a 2013 Chevy Malibu driven by Michael David Buckland, age 35, of Savage was westbound on Highway 60.

At the intersection of Highway 60 and Watonwan County Road 2, Buckland’s vehicle collided with a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Servando Lara Infante, age 58, of St. James. Michael David Buckland was taken to the St. James hospital with non-life threatening injures, as were Emily Beth Buckland, age 34, and Mila Marie Buckland, age two.

Assisting the Minnesota State Patrol on the scene were the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, and the St. James Fire Department and ambulance.
