To honor the class of 2020, Redwood Valley High School will have a “Parking Lot/Drive In Ceremony” on Sunday, May 31 at 1 p.m. in the high school parking lot.

To ensure adequate parking for graduates and their families, along with safety for all involved, the event is reserved for seniors and their immediate families. The district is working with KLGR Radio and Daktronics to broadcast the event live on the radio, and stream it over the Internet.

Community members, friends, and those who are not immediate family may greet seniors as they travel to the school on May 31. Extended families and community members are encouraged to park along nearby streets, and to  remain in their vehicles as seniors make their way to the ceremony.

Several days before the graduation, the annual Redwood Valley High School Awards Program will be held live on Tuesday, May 26 at 7 p.m. on the Redwood Area Schools Facebook page.

Awards will be presented for Triple A, Excel, CAPP, Choir and Band Awards, the Freshman Jimmy Kratzke Athlete of the Year, and Senior Cardinal Athletic Excellence Award. The ceremony will end with a slideshow of all letter winners/three-star participants, along with highlighting each senior.

Seniors will receive their awards at Graduation and all underclassmen will receive their awards next fall.
