Commodity Prices Mostly Higher in November
The average price received by farmers for corn during November 2021 in Minnesota was $5.19 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
This was 19 cents above the October price and $1.61 above November 2020.
The November 2021 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $12.10 per bushel, was 10 cents above the October price and $2.19 above the November 2020 price.
The November average spring wheat price per bushel, at $8.45, was 60 cents below October but $3.63 above November 2020.
All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $176.00 per ton in November.
This was $9.00 above the October price and $61.00 above the November 2020 price.
The November 2021 alfalfa hay price, at $206.00, was $10.00 above the previous month and $75.00 above November 2020.
The average price received for other hay during November was $146.00 per ton.
This was $15.00 above the October price and $58.00 above November last year.
The average price for milk was $20.80 per cwt, 50 cents above the October price but $3.50 below November 2020.
