The October 2020 average price received by farmers for corn in Minnesota was $3.36 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report. 

This was 39 cents above the September price but 27 cents below the October 2019 price. 

The October 2020 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $9.48 per bushel, was up 46 cents from the September price and up $1.15 from the October 2019 price. 

The October 2020 price for spring wheat was $4.96 per bushel, up 39 cents from September and up 33 cents from October 2019. 

All hay prices in Minnesota averaged $112.00 per ton in October, up $3.00 from the September price but down $28.00 from October 2019. 

The alfalfa hay price was $131.00 per ton, $7.00 above the September price but $21.00 below a year ago. 

The other hay price was $89.00, up $3.00 from September but down $25.00 from a year ago. 

The October average price for milk was $23.30 per cwt, up $4.50 from September and up $1.60 from October 2019.
