Willmar man pleads guilty to armed robbery

A Willmar man Tuesday pleaded guilty to robbing a Willmar business at gunpoint last fall.

According to KWLM, Frederick Leach, age 19, was facing charges of 2nd Degree Armed Robbery and Theft for holding up a business on South First Street September 4th.

During a settlement conference in Kandiyohi County District Court Tuesday morning, Leach pleaded guilty to the robbery charge, and the theft charge was dropped.   He will be sentenced May 24 by Judge Melissa Listug.
