Willmar man injured Thursday near Green Lake

A Willmar man was injured Thursday when his vehicle collided with a pickup near Green Lake.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Daniel Lee Hanson, age 63, of Willmar, was driving his 2009 Jeep Patriot northbound on 71st Street when he pulled out in front of a 2018 Dodge Ram that was Westbound on Highway 23.

Hanson was transported to Rice Hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries. None of the passengers in the Dodge Ram — Clinton Dean Rudenick, age 39, and Clifford Gerald Rudenick, age 35, both of Seaforth, and Travis James Raddatz, age 52, and Nicholas Oliver Wolner, age 42, both of Redwood Falls — were injured.

Assisting at the scene were the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, the Spicer Police and Fire Departments, and New London and Carris Health Ambulances.
