An SUV crashed into a semi-truck that had been forced off the road near Willmar on Friday.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Department, at about 2 p.m. on Feb. 18, a Montgomery man was eastbound on Highway 12. Near 45th Street Northeast, stong winds and slippery roads caused the truck to jackknife. A westbound SUV driven by a St. Louis Park woman was unable to stop, and hit the back of the semi’s trailer.

The driver of the semi was taken to Carris Rice Hospital with reported minor injuries, while the SUV driver and her three passengers were not injured.
