South Carolina senior citizens injured in collision near Marshall Friday
A pair of senior citizens from South Carolina were injured in a collision near Marshall Friday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, William Gary Kroger, age 76, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was driving a Jeep Patriot southbound on Highway 23, while Alija Corrine Ros, age 19, of Walnut Grove, was traveling northbound on Highway 23. At about 2:40 p.m., Kroger’s and Ros’s vehicles collided at the intersection of the two roads.
Kroger was transported to the hospital in Marshall with non-life threatening injuries, as was his passenger, Joyce Marie Kroger, age 77, also of Myrtle Beach. Ros reported no injuries.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
