A while back, the Redwood Area High School and Middle School did a major upgrade toward the front of the building. The goal: enhance safety, and rebuild a much-used area with stronger concrete.
Now the school district plans to finish the project. A meeting was held about it this week, and Redwood Area Schools Superintendent Becky Cselovszki told KLGR what it involves:

The estimated cost of the new construction is approximately $2 million. Because the new parking lot replaces some projects that had been funded but aren’t going to be done, Cselovszki said the new project is relatively “tax-neutral” at this point.
