No one injured after pick-up goes through ice at Norway Lake Wednesday

A pick-up truck went through the ice on Norway Lake in Kandiyohi County Wednesday afternoon.

On Jan. 20, at about 1:26 p.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a 2005 GMC pick-up that went thru the ice on Norway Lake. The truck was approximately 650 yards from the south access off of 189th Ave NW, and went into about 10 ft of water.

The occupants of the truck were able to make it out safely with no injuries reported. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Minnesota DNR.
