No injuries in Redwood Falls fire Friday afternoon

No one was injured in a Redwood Falls fire Friday afternoon. On January 22, at approximately 3:53 p.m. Redwood Falls Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to 314 East 5th Street in Redwood Falls on a call of a residence on fire.

Personnel found the structure engulfed in flame and smoke but no one was inside at the time of the fire. It took several hours to extinguish the blaze and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The State Fire Marshall is assisting with that investigation.  The Redwood County Sheriff’s Department and MN State Patrol assisted at the scene
