MnDOT asks public for input about Clara City Hwy 23 and Hwy 7 project

MnDOT District 8, the Highway 23 Coalition, Clara City and Chippewa County are looking for input for a project about the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 7 in Clara City.

The safety study is exploring intersection alternatives to improve safety and traffic flow.  Current traffic conditions such as the amount of traffic, turning movements, what types of traffic use the intersection and crash data are being studied.  Future traffic projections are also part of the study.  A final study document will include recommended alternatives for the intersection.
