Nearly three and a half pounds of methamphetamine were found when an area drug task force raided a residence in Willmar Wednesday.
On April 6, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force performed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of SE Becker Avenue in the City of Willmar. The search warrant was related to an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking being committed by an occupant of the residence.
During the search warrant execution, approximately 3.4 pounds of methamphetamine, a 9mm Handgun and cocaine were located and seized.
Two adults were arrested out of the residence and are being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail on 1st Degree Controlled Substance charges. Also, two small children that were living at the residence were removed from the home with the assistance of Kandiyohi County Family Services.
The CEE-VI Task Force was assisted by the Willmar Police Department and the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office during the execution of the search warrant.
