BOLD Schools Superintendent Dale Brandsoy stepping down

After three years as interim superintendent at BOLD, Dale Brandsoy has announced his retirement. Brandsoy will be retiring at the end of June.

He has been speaking to neighboring school districts about possible areas of cooperation with BOLD after the failure of the the school building referendum in February. He will be meeting the officials from Buffalo Lake-Hector on Tuesday.

He told the BOLD School Board that Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop is not interested in consolidating with BOLD but will consider other areas of cooperation.
