A rural Belgrade woman died after an ATV crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, at about 5:33 p.m., dispatch received a report of an ATV crash with injuries near 40th Street NE.
Arriving at the scene, deputies learned a neighbor had located 65 year old Cynthia Guse Fester of rural Belgrade laying alongside the road with life-threatening injuries.
Numerous law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies responded to the scene. Lifesaving measurers were performed, but Guse Fester died at the scene of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by New London Ambulance Service, Belgrade Fire and Rescue, CentraCare EMS, Life Link Air Ambulance, The Minnesota State Patrol, Lakes Area Rural Responders, The Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, and the Belgrade Police Department.
